Bo-Se is recommended for the prevention and treatment of white muscle disease (Selenium-Tocopherol Deficiency) syndrome in calves, lambs, and ewes, and as an aid in the prevention and treatment of Selenium-Tocopherol Deficiency in sows and weanling pigs. Bo-Se should not be administered to pregnant ewes as deaths and abortions may occur. Bo-Se contains selenium and vitamin E. Each ml of Bo-Se contains the equivalent to 1 mg selenium and 50 mg (68 USP units) vitamin E. Bo-Se is administered by SQ or IM injection.
Give calves 2.5-3.75 ml per 100 lbs body weight. Give ewes 2.5 ml per 100 lbs body weight. Give lambs (two weeks of age and older), sows and weanling pigs 1 ml per 40 lbs body weight. Not for use in newborn pigs. Selenium and vitamin E.
