Clostridium Perfringens C & D Antitoxin is used in the prevention of enterotoxemia (overeating disease) that is caused by Clostridium perfringens types C & D in cattle, sheep and goats, and in swine when caused by type C. The Clostridium perfringens vaccine provides immediate but temporary protection, with a passive immunity that lasts approximately 14 to 21 days.
Give suckling lambs, goats and suckling pigs 5 ml subcutaneously. Give suckling calves, feeder lambs and pigs 10 ml subcutaneously. Give feeder calves and cattle 25 ml subcutaneously.
