Oxytetracycline Injection 200 is a broad-spectrum antibiotic containing 200 mg oxytetracycline per ml. Indicated for the treatment of pneumonia, shipping fever, pinkeye, calf diphtheria, wooden tongue, wounds, infections, foot-rot, and scours caused by E. coli. Recommended for treatment in beef cattle; dairy cattle; calves, including preruminating (veal) calves; and swine. Administration to cattle may be given by intramuscular, subcutaneous, or intravenous injection, though administering IM is not recommended according to Beef Quality Assurance Guidelines. Administer to swine intramuscularly in the neck region. Discontinue treatment at least 28 days prior to slaughter.
